The meeting commenced at 9:30 a.m.

The chair provided an overview of the Sub committee meeting held on October 18, 2000. At that meeting each subcommittee developed an objectives list to be address with city officials. It was decided that three District government agencies (Department of Planning, DCRA and Department of Housing and Community Development) would work with each sub-committee on addressing committee objectives. The community wants better turn-a-round time and visual project outcomes within 120 days. Howard Ways (Dept. of Planning) assured the committee that for visual outcomes could be completed in 90 days.

The Chair asked the committee cover the "Principles" of the process. The process suggests that each Civic Association designate one-point person to attend Task Force meetings and report back progress to their perspective associations. The objective is to have sub-committee and civic association work together in developing short-term goals to be presented to the Task Force.

Chair will work with Howard Ways to develop a letter to be sent to ANC Chairs and Civic Association Presidents asking for designate to attend meetings. Howard Ways, Don Murray and Paul Savage will be identified as contact persons.
