Asst. Chief Willie Dandridge presented awards to members of the Hillcrest Community Civic Association.  Chief-designate Cathy Lanier speaks to Hillcrest about her plans as new Chief of Police for Washington, D.C., a role which she will assume starting in 2007.

Officer Wendell Cunningham of the Special Operations Division, a Hillcrest resident, was presented a letter of commendation from the HCCA for special service to the neighborhood.
