On June 9, 2001, Friends of Twining Square planted over 700 perennials, including salvia,
coriopsis daisies, chrysanthemums, daylities and shasta daisies.
We also spread two truckloads of mulch. On June 23, we planted over 500 annuals
(begonias, petunias, marigolds, ageratum) for color, and spread another truckload of mulch.
Thank you, National Park Service, for providing all the plants and materials, and
ongoing support for this project.
